Full Job Description

We are looking for a Yard Technician to inspect, build, maintain and repair fenders and hoses in accordance with industry and company standards.This role will require travel within the UK as well as international as and when required., Rubber and Composite Hose inspection, testing and service

  • Inspection procedures

  • Testing procedures

  • Hose Repairs


  • Fender maintenance including service, maintenance, installation and removal
  • Inspection procedures

  • Safety Valve Testing and Replacement procedures

  • Netting of Fenders including replacing of tyres

  • Drilling tyres and cutting chain

  • Folding Nets

  • Folding Fenders

  • Fender Installation and removal

  • Fender Repairs


  • Hydro pneumatic fender maintenance including service, maintenance installation and removal
  • Inspection procedures

  • Safety Valve Testing and Replacement procedures

  • Hydro pneumatic fender Installation and removal

  • Hydro pneumatic fender Repairs


  • Yard based tasks
  • Goods In and Out

  • Dispatch

  • Stock Taking Procedures

  • Housekeeping

    Experience in a similar role (Preferable)

  • Experience operating a forklift and other heavy equipment (Desirable)

  • Ability to comply with H&S rules at the workplace

  • Ability to work on your own as well as as part of a team

  • Natural problem-solver

  • Telehandler

  • Manual handler (Tyre grab)

  • Gas Axe

  • Slinger Banksman

  • Mobile Rap

  • Mobile Crane (Desirable)
