Full Job Description

The Wholesale Key Account Manager role entails managing relationships with buying teams, negotiating agreements, and implementing commercial plans to drive mutual growth with On-Trade wholesale partners. Leading a Virtual Team, you'll coordinate cross-functional efforts to deliver effective customer plans, ensuring performance tracking against KPIs and participation in commercial routines. Attention to detail and strong commercial acumen are crucial for success, as you'll manage P&L, forecast volume and commercials, and identify growth opportunities while balancing customer demands. This field-based role in the north-west of England offers opportunities to develop commercial management and negotiation skills while building a robust internal network.
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong, effective relationships with customer (internal & external) contacts at all levels of management.

  • Responsible for managing the operational relationship with key customer contacts. Developing and implementing plans at both head office & regional levels in line with customer/sector strategy.

  • Execute the 1YP, budget and gap close cycles in the calendar year, defining and implementing a compelling strategy with the support of the Commercial controller.

  • Full CPT and P&L responsibility, accountable for accurate tracking, forecasting, mix-management and managing of investments.

  • Achieve designated volume, distribution, and EBITDA targets for key brands in the business by implementing and defining strong strategies that work for both parties.

  • Control & monitor investment in line with brand activity & capex budgets.

  • Sell effectively, and then negotiate effectively, to achieve the most profitable and secure agreement for BBG whilst delivering solutions for customers.

  • To retain & grow, AB InBev share & value within the customer and the market.

  • Working with the NAM to effectively lead a virtual team, working with different stakeholders to deliver for your ledger; including trade marketing, category management, tech sales and brands dispense.

  • Work closely with NAM and the wider field sales teams to support the customer/business strategy, retaining and growing volume and BBG share in the on trade.
