Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for various duties including lifting, picking and packing, stock management, forklift operation, and shipping and receiving. The ideal candidate should have mechanical knowledge and be able to load and unload items efficiently., Perform lifting of materials and products
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage stock inventory and ensure proper organization
- Operate forklifts to move items within the warehouse
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assemble, disassemble, or repair equipment as needed
- Load and unload shipments from trucks or containers
- Use AS400 system or other inventory management software to track inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
- Proficient in operating forklifts or willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock inventory effectively
- Familiarity with AS400 or other inventory management systems is a plus
