Trust Grade SHO Urology

This is a one-year appointment and is designed to allow the post-holder to gain additional experience in Urology and General Surgery prior to applying for an ST3 post. Applicants would be expected to have completed or be working towards MRCS. The post-holders will have the opportunity to continue to develop their surgical skills and to participate in quality improvement and teaching within the department., This post works as part of a combined surgical Rota. The post holder will be expected to work Urology during the normal working day shift, and hold the on-call bleep for both specialties (Urology and General Surgery) when on call (long day/weekend day/ night shifts).
