An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as Team Secretary/Administrator within our Older Adult Psychology service, who provide high quality specialist psychology services to older adults with mental health and dementia difficulties.

You will be based at our Benet Building, Belmont, Hereford, working alongside the small team of Older Adult Psychologists and Senior Administrator. The majority of your role will be to provide the wide range of administrative support needed by the psychology team, including liaising with patients and carers to arrange appointments, so a supportive, friendly attitude and a flexible approach towards work is an essential for this role.

If you would like to discuss informally if this is the right role for you, get in touch with Recruiting Manager which can be found on the top right-hand side of the advert., As part of our team your main duty will be to provide an efficient administration service to Older Adult Psychology service. You will undertake general office duties such as typing, filing, data uploading, record keeping, scanning/photocopying, making appointments, minute taking and incoming /outgoing mail. You will be dealing with both face to face and telephone enquiries from patients and internal/external agencies and will be required to accurately record information on patients medical records whilst maintaining confidentiality. Audio typing may occasionally be required as part of the role. You will be involved in the Trusts appraisal process and in supervising and supporting a small number of staff.
