This is a unique opportunity to join us in our Looked After Children and Permanence team as a Team Manager and be instrumental in leading a motivated team, implementing quality assurance as standard. Being creative will assist you to deliver the best possible services and outcomes for our families.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

We are seeking a reflective Team Manager with a proven ability to lead and develop Social Workers.

You will possess a recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW) and Social Work England registration.

You will be committed and passionate about practice, sharing learning and knowledge and developing others. You will have a solid understanding of and be an advocate for the principles of diversity and inclusion in relation to workplace culture and service delivery.

You will have excellent knowledge of court care planning, experience of adoption and permanence work and have the drive and tenacity to get Coventry Children's Service to Ofsted "outstanding".
