Full Job Description

As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a small team ensuring the maintenance of the grounds. You will provide support to the line manager in relation to the team's compliance of company procedures and policies as well as ensuring that the requirements of the client and the specification are fully met for the enjoyment, recreation and safety of the sites, employees and visitors. You will be working 'hands-on' with a small team of gardeners to provide a top-class horticultural environment for our clients.

Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader who has a can-do attitude who will join an existing team based at Junction 6 Industrial Estate, Aston.,

  • Ability to work as part of a team or on their own

  • Full driving licence is essential

  • Trailer Towing is desirable

  • Passionate about the environment with a keen eye for detail.

  • NVQ or Diploma Level 2 Horticulture / Landscaping (or equivalent)

  • Spraying Certificates - NPTC PA1 &PA6 are preferred

  • 3 years' experience in Landscaping / Grounds Maintenance

  • Ability to implement Health & Safety requirements to ensure safe working practices to enable smooth running of works on site

  • Knowledge of heavy-duty gardening equipment, Ground Maintenance: 3 years (required)
