Full Job Description

  • Provide structured support in accordance with specific work programmes designed and supervised by individual teachers

  • Support the teacher in the development and implementation of Individual Education/ Behaviour Plans

  • Assist in maintaining classroom discipline through the implementation of the school's behaviour management strategies

  • Provide support to pupils to achieve learning goals, e.g. guided reading, pre/post teaching, interventions

  • Assist the teacher with the planning of learning activities

  • Assist the teacher in monitoring pupils' responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed

    Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Team working, Initiative, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4/C or above) Essential

    • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4/C or above) Essential

    We are a small, Staffordshire, village First school with 80 children. We educate children from the ages of 3 to 9 years old. Our classes are of mixed ages: Nursery/Reception, Year 1/2, Year 3/4. Our school is a Christian school that works closely with the Diocese of Lichfield.
