CareCo are the leading retailer of mobility products within the United Kingdom. Following continued expansion and growth, as well as the rollout of a new company wide ERP/Warehouse Management platform, we are increasing the size and scope of our Operational Systems teams to encompass the majority of IT and Systems application ownership, management, improvement, and control. Encompassing coverage for our30 retail showrooms, 2 major Warehousing operation centres and Head Office along with assisting in the support and eCommerce Website.

We are looking to expand our Systems Implementation team to analyse current practices, requests for change and facilitate the progress of new solutions for all systems now under management of the Systems department.

The role will provide a dynamic opportunity to work directly on businesses systems usage and would suit an experienced analyst or similar candidate whose preference will be to work in both in operations and diving into technical where appropriate.

Your tasks will vary from simple internally managed changes, improvements, and rollouts, formulating and coordinating technical improvements with 3rd Party developers, through to projects to source, plan and set up new service applications on behalf of the company.

This role is based in our Head Office in Great Notley, Braintree.

What are my responsibilities?

  • To work with stakeholders to scope requirements and design solutions that meet for both technical and business suitability.

  • Produce detailed functional specifications that can be used both within the business and with 3rd party developers.

  • Work with business teams to ensure smooth implementation of projects (e.g., training guidance, feature demos, etc.).

  • Own and deliver on 'last mile' testing/'check out' and pilot activity once tech deliverables are released into UAT/production environments.

  • Conduct post release checks ensuring that core functions of the business are fully operational.

  • Any other ad-hoc duty as required.

    Strong Business Analysis / Logical Investigation expertise.

  • Operational Business acumen, with strong skills in the systems/technology space, particularly ERP systems.

  • Experience implementing business processes in relation to systems solutions.

  • Experience in business process mapping, process improvement and standard operating procedures.

  • Participation in formal change management processes.

  • Experience in working with third parties to develop and implement solutions.

  • Experience of building and participating in the full range of testing activities (including but not limited to: functional testing, user acceptance testing, integration testing).

  • Experience with SQL based Database applications.

  • Good Excel, Power BI or similar skills for data analysis.

  • Proven strong negotiating and consensus building abilities.

    Up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • Full-time hours - 5-day working week, Monday to Friday.
