Full Job Description

Procurement Partners is specialist hospitality procurement business working alongside hotels and restaurants to reduce their food spend. We do this using our extensive experience in food procurement, a deep understanding of the marketplace and the combined food purchasing volumes of our clients to secure sustainable and competitive pricing which out performs the market.

Previous / current clients include: Maybourne (The Connaught, Claridge's & The Berkley), Caprice Holdings, Gordon Ramsay Group, The Grove (Ralph Trustees), Red Carnation Hotels, Handpicked Hotels, Bourne (Warner, Butlin's)… amongst others.

The candidate should have extensive food knowledge and a deep understanding of the hospitality sector supply chain, with previous experience buying for a food procurement business or in-house at a contract caterer or hotel / restaurant group. Flexible remote working, with bi weekly visits to our office in Honiley Warwickshire, they'll be responsible for managing and negotiating pricing across all food categories as well as building strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster and develop collaborative relationships with suppliers in all food categories

  • Manage terms with all key suppliers, using market knowledge to negotiate pricing on a monthly basis

  • Understand and monitor market trends helping the business and our clients stay ahead of market movement

  • Relaying key market information back to clients at the senior and chef level

  • Evaluate and select suppliers with a focus on quality, service and price

  • Work on RFPs for potential new business, putting together supply chain options that the fit the clients specific needs and negotiating one of terms for key clients

    Good knowledge and understanding of the hospitality sector, specifically luxury hotels and restaurant groups

  • Previous food procurement experience within these markets

  • Self starter with a positive attitude and great organisational skills

  • Proficient in Excel and basic data analysis

  • Able to communicate clearly and consicely internally and externally with suppliers and clients at a senior level, including presenting
