Full Job Description

Acocks Green Primary School are looking for a full time (32.5 hours per week) Level 3 teaching assistant, with a specific interest in working with children with SEND, to join our friendly, hard working team.,

  • will have a sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, especially around the needs of students with Autism

  • has experience of working in a school environment, with children with SEN

  • is a qualified practitioner, who has experience of Early Years, Key Stage 1 and preferably at least some experience of Key Stage 2

  • has proven skills that will contribute to a growing team within the school's provision

  • is a reflective and flexible practitioner

  • is committed to developing personalised learning

  • will contribute to the development of school and continue raising standards at Acocks Green Primary School

  • has an enthusiastic and positive attitude which reflects our school motto of 'Everyone is different, everyone is equal, everyone is welcome', This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
