Sales Operations Data Analyst

This role requires deep knowledge and proven practical experience using Power BI, Microsoft Excel and Power Pivot for maintaining reports, the outputs of which will support the wider commercial objectives of the organisation by providing key insights from Sales & Marketing data and, in the process, gaining valuable commercial exposure within a fast-paced environment.

• Extracting and aggregating Sales & Marketing data from various sources and ensuring that it is reliable, consistent, and complete.


• Monthly/weekly report preparation and distribution, including sales performance, revenue analysis, regional expense reports and operational KPIs.


• Power BI reports and data modelling.


• Identifying areas of improvement for reporting processes.


• Assisting in analysis of the following: pricing strategy, sales forecasting, commission/discount extended to suppliers and agent performance.


• Analysing complex datasets to verify drivers and assumptions. This includes historical data to identify patterns, trends, and key points in the business/sales cycles.
  
  Projects are diverse, and the ideal candidate would have extensive experience within a Sales Operations Fibre Network Builds (FTTP) environment including marketing & sales campaigns benefits analysis ., Demonstrable experience involving data profiling, ETL, Power BI connectors, data modelling, RLS (row level security, DAX, M Code, dashboard design and report optimisation.


• At least 2 years' commercial experience using Power BI


• Advanced user of Power BI, Power Pivot and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced charting and dashboard design).


• Demonstratable experience in a Sales Operations environment


• Confident working with the wider business to understand data requirements and recommend solutions.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills


• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of data analysis, data modelling and quality assurance techniques


• Project management experience beneficial


Personal Qualities

Commercial understanding, honesty, discretion, and fair-mindedness rank high with a persuasive, personality, and an ability to deal with conflict. Both "Grace under fire" and an aptitude for dealing with change and ambiguity are a MUST.,

Education:

• A-Level or equivalent (required)


Experience:

• GIS: 1 year (preferred)


• Data programming: 1 year (preferred)
