Full Job Description

The Safety & Building Services Operative will report directly to the Safety & Building Services Supervisors and be responsible for providing an efficient and effective estates service within the Facilities Management Department.

The role will include shift work (including evening & weekends) covering 7 days a week.

The shift systems of the role are currently:

06:00 - 14:30

08:00 - 16:30

13:00 - 21:30

1 weekend approximately every 8 weeks.

  • Or be willing to work towards appointed person First Aid status.

  • Or be willing to work towards IOSH Working Safely (or equivalent).

  • To hold a valid SIA badge (Frontline Door Supervisor / CCTV Operator) or be willing to work towards - desirable.

  • Full, clean driving license - desirable.
