Full Job Description

  • Contribute to Warwickshire Children and Families responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people and their families

  • Train and support practitioners to develop the skills to refer into and attend MARAC and MAPPA meetings where appropriate

  • To model and develop restorative and relational approaches to growing partnerships and the development of strong professional relationships

  • Provide direction and advice to partners in regard to child safeguarding

  • Current knowledge of Domestic Abuse legislation

  • Current knowledge of public protection and safeguarding legislation

  • Do you want to work in a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary setting where the primary focus is for the regard of children, young people and their families within the MARAC and MAPPA process?

    The Risk Assessment Team/Youth Justice Service are seeking a part-time (18.5 hours a week) Risk Assessment Officer to job share with the current post holder. The role will require to work collaboratively with partner agencies as the Children and Families representative in multi-agency settings.
