Full Job Description

The Residential Programme Manager will work as part of a dedicated team to set up and deliver the NCS away from home programme This will involve managing residential activity, overseeing and booking the logistics of the programme, and ensuring delivery of a high quality and safe programme.,

  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team to set up and deliver the NCS programme to meet the NCS trust vision and ethos

  • Oversee and support the logistics and planning, including liaising with transport providers and residential accommodation providers.

  • Comply with in-programme health and safety assessments provided by Pharos & NCS assessment Services.

  • Ensure all Residential Facilities meet programme content and planned delivery, meeting, quality standards and approval via pharos.

  • Support with design, and Implementing the NCS Programme

  • Provide effective management and inspiring leadership to seasonal staff and young people

  • Ensure that all activities and provision is delivered safely and in line with organisitional policies and ensure all guidelines are adhered to.

    Good influencing and motivational skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.

  • The ability to plan effectively and prioritise conflicting demands and be able to work under pressure and to targets.

  • A passion for, and understanding of, building better communities and commitment to the aims of NCS

  • The ability to work on own initiative and under pressure, to tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrate drive and energy, especially in the face of resistance or setbacks

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to coach and motivate teams.

  • Access to a car and to be able to drive to various locations, Youth work: 2 years (preferred)

  • project planning or management ales/presenting: 1 year (preferred)

  • Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
