- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a research and development environment within the battery industry.
- In-depth knowledge of battery chemistry, electrochemical systems, and energy storage technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in project management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for research and development initiatives in battery technology.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including scientists, engineers, and technicians to execute project objectives effectively and efficiently.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to mitigate obstacles and ensure successful project completion.
Provide technical guidance and expertise in battery chemistry, materials science, and engineering principles to support project development.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify emerging technologies, trends, and opportunities for innovation in battery technology.
Evaluate research findings, experimental data, and technical reports to drive informed decision-making and strategic direction for R&D projects.
Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project activities and meet established milestones and deliverables.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and continuous improvement among team members.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on project status, key findings, and strategic recommendations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and quality assurance protocols throughout the research and development process.
Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to navigate legal and compliance requirements for new product development and commercialization., This position is based Coventry, with occasional travel required for project meetings, conferences, and collaboration with external partners. Occasional international travel is likely.
