Full Job Description

  • Business development - identify potential employers; engage with hiring managers to generate new business and job opportunities for New Leaf clients

  • Represent the organisation at networking events, job fairs etc.

  • Engage with and support businesses with their Social Values / Corporate Social Responsibility strategy

  • Advertise and promote vacancies to clients

  • Maintain client notes on CRM

  • Work alongside CEO and Office Manager to ensure client agreements and payroll requirements are in place for new starters

  • Liaise with Resettlement Workers to ensure that client are fully supported in overcoming any barriers or issues they face

  • Support other areas of New Leaf e.g., identify and refer work placement opportunities for learners on traineeship programmes in the New Leaf Training Academy


  • The role offers a basic salary of up to £30,000 along with a company pension.

If the answer is yes, please read on., We are looking for a talented communicator with previous experience and track record as a Recruitment Consultant who has successfully supported people with convictions into paid employment through a service that charges fees to employers.
  • Previous experience supporting people with previous convictions into paid roles with employers through an agency style chargeable service

  • Confident, credible and willing to engage with people with convictions to build rapport and relationships with clients in order to find them the best roles and opportunities

  • Able to connect with prisons in the local area using lived experience, connections and confidence

  • Experience in Warehouse/Logistics, Construction or Hospitality sectors would be highly advantageous along with existing networks for business development

  • Motivated and driven to develop new business, but also able to build on existing relationships through an honest and ethical approach

  • Strong knowledge of documents and processes needed to develop and run a recruitment business

  • A driving licence is required as the role will involve occasional travel to other locations as part of process of engaging with employers or attending networking events


  • As our recruitment business is newly developed the successful applicant will need to be self-motivated, able to work under their own initiative, and willing to take on other tasks as required to ensure our success.
