Full Job Description
- Building relationship with protection firms and advisers
- Work to a target to increase protection sales
- Work with individual Protection firm supervisors providing training and development support
- To manage projects in order to grow business protection products and build a robust sales process in line with Company recommendations:
- Responsible for supporting trainee Protection advisers, to include (but not limited to):
- To conduct monthly development calls with all Protection Trainees
- To support with Protection Training, Competence and Supervision programmes
- To assist in delivering Induction & training courses/presentations in line with the business need
- To assist with Protection projects and any ad hoc products as per the Directors request
- From time to time, you may be asked to undertake other duties commensurate with the level of position that may be required by the Directors of the Network
This role will suit a self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of Financial Services and protection. The successful candidate must have experience of instructing, coaching and monitoring protection advisers., A minimum of 2 years' experience in a development role coaching Protection advisers within a Mortgage network is essential - Strong Protection knowledge is essential
- High degree of protection knowledge including underwriting
- CertPro or equivalent qualification is preferable
- Strong knowledge of protection regulation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Ability to motivate and get the best from people
- Coaching and mentoring and people management skills
- Good team player, but with the ability to work under own initiative
- The ability to analyse information with a view to making informed decisions
- Competent on Microsoft office suite i.e., excel, word etc., £30,000 - £40,000 per annum dependant on experience to receive the higher salary banding you must have 2 years previous experience carrying out the same role for another Mortgage network
