Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Property Project Delivery Manager to join our Programme Delivery team; this is a field-based role, reporting occasionally to our Business Support Centre in Lichfield, Staffordshire.

As a Property Project Delivery Manager at Central England Co-operative, you will be a key member of the Programme Delivery team supporting business growth strategy in a successful and expanding Society through hands-on management of a variety of projects across retail and funeral trading divisions, including trading property fit-outs, refurbishments and equipment upgrade roll-out projects.

You'll manage your allocated projects fully from inception to completion, taking responsibility for all liaison with both internal and external stakeholders; including contractors, suppliers and the project sponsors to ensure delivery objectives are consistently met within prescribed time, budget and quality targets.

A personable, self-motivated and highly organised individual, willing and able to work remotely with limited management supervision. Capable of delivering a range of projects concurrently to pre-agreed fixed deadlines, whilst also remaining flexible towards meeting the Society's trading businesses' needs in terms of planning project working processes, hours and locations.

Some relevant previous Project Management experience preferred, ideally but not essentially with some exposure to project delivery in a property, retail or leisure sector organisation. However, for this role, applications from recently qualified candidates in a relevant discipline seeking a first career position after securing tertiary level qualifications will also be considered.

How will I know if I am right for this role?

The successful candidate will be expected to quickly build strong working relationships with other project contributors, both internally and externally, and thus should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills.

You will also need to be highly PC literate, with up-to-date skills in all Microsoft Office applications, preferably including basic capability in MS Project. This role also requires proven 2D AutoCAD skills and/or qualifications, More advanced CAD skills e.g. Auto CAD 3D and/or Revit experience will be an advantage.

A full driving licence is also required along with willingness to travel extensively across our regions, undertaking unsocial hours working where necessary to support out trading operations.
