Project Controller

This is an exciting role for someone experienced in project finance and is looking for their next challenge with a growing iconic brand. Ideally with experience in the automotive industry. The Project Controller will oversee and manage all aspects of the business case model, covering investment, BoM, Engineering, selling prices, sales volumes in a number of international markets, manufacturing and distributor costs to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.,

• Be able to build business cases and manage the Track of changes


• Drive optimisation of Profitability through the department and business


• Project cost tracking of Engineering cost UK & India


• Tool and capital tracking to program budget - PO authorisation


• Support the program delivery team in tracking BoM SCR and R&O for product cost report


• Product costing activity such as SCM in cost stack for BoM i.e Ex works cost, freight, logistics


• Provide guidance to Commercial in cost allocation within dealer / distributor model


• Support Program Management Office in risk and opportunity tracking


• Monthly reporting - presenting to the project team and SLT
  
  Accounting qualification (Desirable)


• Be able to use Excel - (Intermediate user within finance and project work)


• Experience in Product costing


• Strong relationship-building and communication.


• Strong cross-department liaison


• Working knowledge of SAP


• Knowledge of R&D Engineering and understanding of the deliverable's gateways required to hit completion of projects.
