Full Job Description

We are currently hiring for the position of a Product Owner - SW Integration to join JLR and assist in a pivotal role advancing our Battery Management and Charging Software, in which you will be responsible for leading the software build and integration activities within both areas to help develop JLR's next generation of Battery Electric Vehicles.

In the role, you will work alongside group product owners, subject experts, programme delivery engineers, in-house software teams, and external software suppliers to plan, integrate, and deliver from prototype to production-ready software that will provide value to the product and the customer.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the product backlog for Software integration, build and delivery.

  • Develop DevOps plan and coordinate Software builds in CI/CD pipeline across Agile teams

  • Set and drive delivery through prioritisation of work based on business and customer impact.

In order to be considered for this position, you will need to have a considerable amount of Software experience. As the role will mostly be involving Battery Management and Charging Modules, experience with this will absolutely give you an advantage, however it is not essential. You will also need to have software integration experience, experience using AUTOSAR and CI/CD Pipeline, and ideally have experience in relevant roles and responsibilities within the automotive industry.

  • Essential:
  • Experience of delivery through technical delivery teams, including software development.

  • Previous product owner and stakeholder management experience

  • A clear understanding of the Agile methodologies.

  • Comfortable using JIRA and Confluence

  • Technical knowledge of Systems Engineering, V-Model, Systems Integration, Systems Architecture, and Requirements management.

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you'll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes JLR the perfect place to continue your journey.

  • This role may offer the opportunity for hybrid working where you can split your time between working from home and in the office. At JLR, hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement providing employees with more choice and flexibility around how, when and where they work, if suitable for their role. Further details can be discussed with the Hiring Manager at interview stage.

JLR is committed to equal opportunity for all.
