Full Job Description

  • Creating a fun, engaging and safe environment for the children

  • Teaching within the EYFS requirement

  • Partaking in a range of indoor and outdoor activities

  • Supporting the children with a range of self-care needs such as feeding and personal hygiene

  • Communicating with other team members and parents

  • Working in a childcare setting with children ranging from ages 2-4

  • Ensuring the environment is safe

  • Supporting children's language development

  • To assist with meeting the personal, social and emotional needs of individual children, Level 2 - Early Years Practitioner qualification

  • Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

  • Training takes place in the setting

  • Allocated paid time away from the setting to complete course work

  • Online training and meetings with assessor

  • Paediatric first aid training

    Pippins Preschool is offering the chance for a candidate to take part in an Early Years Apprenticeship in our small setting with children ranging from ages 2-4. You will be working towards an Early Years Level 2 qualification. You will be supporting the children with their development through learning and play., Communication skills, IT skills, Customer care skills, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade Grade 4) Desired

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade Grade 4) Desired, Early years practitioner

    Leybourne Chase Preschool operates under the name Pippins Preschool. We are a small and friendly preschool with a beautiful large outside space.
