Full Job Description

We are looking to employ a Teacher to lead and promote PE and Sport across the NCSF Trust. Our Trust has 4 schools over 5 sites in the North Cotswolds. (Cold Aston, Longborough, St James' & Ebrington and Swell CofE Primary Schools) The role is full time, permanent and you will spend a day a week at our smaller sites and 2 days a week at St James' & Ebrington.

Our schools have a central role to play in supporting all children and young people to live healthy active lives; this is particularly true of primary school where the foundations of positive and enjoyable participation in regular physical activity should be established.

What you'll do

In this role you will work at each of the schools to deliver PE and Active lessons, workshops, organise lunchtime clubs and other programmes during the school day as well as delivering and organising afterschool clubs and fixtures across the school year. We are keen to promote inclusive sporting events across our schools to increase the opportunities that all our children have to participate in sport. The morning timetable would include some teaching of core subjects in the classes you are in.

The aims of the role will be in line with the PE sports premium key indicators:

1. Increased confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff in teaching PE and sport.

2. Engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity.

3. The profile of PE and sport is raised across the school as a tool for whole school improvement.

4. Broader experience of a range of sports and physical activities offered to all pupils.

5. Increased participation in competitive sport for all.

If this role and our vision is something that excites you and you believe that you have the skills, experience and motivation required, we would very much like to hear from you and we look forward to receiving your completed application form. Please submit your application by email to tbm@ncsf.school
