Full Job Description

  • Level 3 Optical Assistant Apprenticeship Standard qualification

  • Functional Skills in English, if required

  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)

  • Full-time 5 out of 7 days - including weekend working

  • Daily on-the-job training in store - no college to attend

  • Training provider - Specsavers Optical Superstores Limited

    Our apprenticeship gives people of all ages a chance to start an exciting career, while earning a full-time wage. Duties include - booking customers in for eye tests, pre-screening, recommending suitable frames. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about providing great customer service and would like to pursue a career in optics., Once you have completed the Apprenticeship, you'll be a fully qualified Level 3 Optical Assistant with a massive range of career options ahead of you, Communication skills, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Team working, Initiative, GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 9-4 (A-C)) Essential, Before applying, please bear in mind the salary and check that you are able to travel to the store location on a daily basis.
