Full Job Description
- New Business Underwriter responsible for reviewing Broker presentations and underwriting risks in line with CE authority levels
- Underwriting profitable business and contributing towards the maintenance of acceptable Loss ratios
- Implementing KPI's for New Business growth
- Collaborating with colleagues and Key Account Managers to secure business
- Learn & adopt systems, product lines and internal procedures
- Provide technical expertise for scheme business to Brokers and internal Stakeholders
- Prospecting and Networking with designated Broker partners
- Assisting with scheme testing, identifying product enhancements and rating initiatives
Excellent verbal communication skills and who enjoy relationship building. - Are confident and can make decisions.
- Are pro-active, passionate and professional.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Are able to work in a fast -paced environment.
- Are flexible and willing to embrace new initiatives.
- Cert CII or working towards
- Experience in Commercial Insurance - Property, Liability, Package Insurance

Requirements
We are successful at trading via our cutting-edge online platform but have recently extended our services to provide bespoke Underwriting solutions to our Broker partners.
We are looking for an additional person to join the newly established Trading Team, embrace the vision and focus on New Business growth.
