Full Job Description

Management of the Natures Menu Team, ensuring that it is operating in an efficient and effective manner. Ensuring the team maintains the level of service required by Oakland partners, working towards departmental KPI's whilst adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

  • To lead, motivate and manage the performance of the Warehouse Team to surpass the team KPI's using the management information, processes & policies to achieve them.

  • Problem solving and assist management in providing resolutions.

  • Oversee customer packing ensuring the correct procedures are followed.

  • Ensure correct dress code (PPE) is worn at all times.

  • To deliver a service level in excess of 99.5%

  • To ensure that equipment, including MHE are signed in and out according to the agreed process.

  • Complete a Daily handover and send to your Manager

  • Complete Absent contact Logs, Return to works and Documented Conversations.

  • Be responsible for conducting daily / weekly team briefings to all teams.

  • Support a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Support a culture of Ensure the Warehouse is "audit ready" at all times.

  • Ensure standards of a product safety culture and legalities are communicated, understood add followed in the operation by all teams.

  • To identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and service.

  • Ensure that the operation and operational teams are fully compliant with customer requirements and accreditation, for example, BRCGS

  • Responsible for understanding, communicating and driving the department key performance indicators, including sales losses, labour cost and agency usage and acting on any overspends.

  • Qualified in HACCP Principles with a good working knowledge of the codex Alimentarius approach.

  • Qualified to (or working towards) Advanced level 4 in food safety requirements.

  • Trained and experienced in internal and external auditing and factory standards., Numeracy and literacy skills

  • Confident user in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel at an intermediate level.

  • Previous leadership experience in a similar role

  • Ability to delegate
