Full Job Description

Are you a creative and confident book marketer with experience of delivering impactful campaigns and seamless communication? Award-winning publisher Quercus Books are seeking a capable and energised Marketing Manager (FTC) to join their team at a busy and exciting time.

Reporting to a senior member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied allocation of campaigns, including established brands and debut voices. You'll play an active role in the marketing strategy for Arcadia, Quercus's SFF imprint, and work with our energetic and supportive team to deliver organic social and newsletter strategies.

You'll enjoy huge variety in the role, from creating content to running impactful digital advertising and briefing designers on eye-catching creatives for online and offline book promotion. Alongside your trade marketing workload you will provide support on our Laurence King list, gathering feedback from stakeholders and managing admin processes efficiently.

You'll succeed in this role if you are skilled at blending creativity and strategy to connect books with readers through online and offline channels. You'll be a confident communicator, able to deliver clear, energised campaign updates on email and in person to authors and internal stakeholders. You'll be very well organised, able to juggle multiple competing deadlines and deliver campaigns within budget, and proactive in your problem-solving. This role would suit an experienced Marketing Executive or Officer looking to take their next step, or a Marketing Manager seeking a new opportunity in a dynamic publishing house.
