Are you a recent graduate with a passion for marketing and looking to gain hands-on experience in the field? Or are you a skilled marketing executive seeking a fresh opportunity? Join our team as a Temporary Marketing Assistant and support us in implementing a communications plan for a national Trading Card Game (TCG) event featuring brands like Disney Lorcana, and Magic: The Gathering.

As our Marketing assistant, you will support the work of the marketing executive on projects directed at maximising company profits by developing sales strategies and marketing campaigns. You'll play a crucial role in our small team, reaching out to both new and current customers through various channels like our website, social media, email, online ads, and influencers. Your main task will be to execute our marketing strategies effectively.

Axion Now is looking for someone based in Amersham and able to commit to a 3-month contract (with the possibility of review) and someone who can work 4 or 5 days a week, around 30-40 hours per week, they must be available to work the weekend of July 13th/14th

Responsibilities:

  • Building a good working knowledge of Magic: The Gathering and the Axion Now brand.

  • Building a strong understanding of Axion Now's customers and how to engage with them.

  • Assist in implementing a communications plan for national Trading Card Game events.

  • Work closely with the team to execute strategies across various platforms.

  • Implementing digital marketing campaigns, including social media, e-mail marketing and newsletters.

  • Maintaining and updating content on the Axion Now website.

    Good written and spoken English skills.

  • Some marketing experience or knowledge is required; graduates are welcome.

  • Basic hands-on experience in graphics, social media, and email marketing.

  • Good knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo.

  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar software.

  • Familiar with social media management tools like Hootsuite.

  • Knowledge of social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, etc.

  • Previous project management experience is a plus., Master's (preferred), Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
