Machine Operator

Responsible for adhering to all site health & safety regulations following standard operating procedures at all times. Ensuring quality is key providing the best possible service to our customers., Ensuring all Health & Safety is adhered to as per TPP policies and procedure

- Set up & Operate metal forming machinery

- Prepare and pack finished product to high standard

- Maintain excellent quality standards of finished product

- Inspect and maintain the company's equipment

- Provide cover for absent colleagues on other equipmentWork with colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness

  Rotating shifts


Shift 1 - Monday - Thursday 13:45-23:45

Shift 2 - Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00

Pay: start rate £11.65 plus an additional £0.50 pence per hour for working a rotating shift pattern. This rate of pay will be reviewed, with a look to increase after a successful probationary period.

Overtime is paid for any hours worked over and above set hours in a month, as follows:

First 2 hours - basic x 1.3 subsequent hours during the week and at weekends - basic x 1.5

Holiday: Our holiday calendar runs run from January to December and we offer 23 days plus national bank holidays, which is calculated pro rata if employment commences part way through the year. Some days have to be taken as holiday at Christmas when the factory is shut.

Health care scheme: We provide a primary health care scheme for all following successful completion of probation.

Pension: We have a work place pension with The People's Pension into which employees are auto enrolled after 3 months
