Here at Mann+Hummel (UK) Ltd, we have an exciting opportunity and are looking for a Key Account Manager, responsible for a specific customer(s) within our Passenger Car Segment, to join our UK team.

The right candidate develops, implements and executes the sales strategies, mainly for one customer in the passenger car segment. Role is responsible for the global achievement of the planned sales goals with the assigned customer.

Candidate is the "one face to the customer".

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Maintain positive and strategic business relationships with the assigned customer.

  • Support definition and implementation of the global sales strategies and identify new business opportunities for the defined customer.

  • Steer the strategic and operational planning processes as well as the target agreements.

  • Review and monitor the existing customer contracts on a regular basis, start and conduct contract negotiations where needed.

  • Develop and implement the pricing strategies for the defined customers.

  • Review and monitor the sales performance periodically to ensure that goals are met.

  • Monitor the accounts receivables for the assigned customer group and solve issues/define countermeasures in case of deviations.

  • Monitor the market and industry trends, define the market prices and initiate target costing in the projects to ensure M+H competitiveness.

  • Observe and analyse the competitors´ situation and market trends.

    We are looking for an experienced professional who can manage our partnership with customers and who wants to take an active part in driving our continued expansion., Degree in Engineering and / or Business Administration (technical orientation)

  • Several years of working experience within Sales. Ideally within the automotive sector, project management, sales, or adequate experience with passenger car OEMs.

  • Customer orientation, organization and coordination skills, self-initiative and ability to work under pressure.

  • Conflict management with great communication skills.

  • Extensive negotiation skills.

  • Digital skills required, e.g., extensive knowledge of MS Office package, IT tools, new AI tools as ChatGPT or copilot, virtual communication skills, and social media (LinkedIn)

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

  • Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and Europe when needed.


  • PLEASE NOTE:

    Applicants for this role must be flexible in their approach to working hours and location as travel within the UK (with overnight accomodation provided) may be required, as well as occasional travel to Head Office, based in Germany, which will also be required from time to time.,
  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Sales: 1 year (preferred)
