Full Job Description

  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore testing teams to reproduce and report issues in accordance with internal processes.

  • Serve as the final line of defence in the testing process, ensuring that products meet client requirements before release.

  • Adhere to internal processes to maintain accountability and quality standards.

  • Conduct internal and external product demos, guiding clients through the user experience using detailed scripts.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining a comprehensive library of acceptance tests to facilitate prompt engineering.

  • You will be comfortable running demos of the user acceptance process with the end customer.

  • Utilise tools such as Cucumber, Gherkin, and Katalon to create and execute automated tests for efficient testing processes.

  • If you're a detail-oriented individual with a passion for technology and a commitment to ensuring the quality of a user journey for technology apps and products, then get in touch with Dan Rodrigues for an off-the-record conversation.

As a User Acceptance Testing Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of an array of software products that they build in-house for external customers. You will be required to be methodical and follow a tight process, due to the repetitiveness of User Acceptance Testing and be able to spot defects and undertake exploratory testing at depth. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for technology and a desire to make an impact. You do not need to have been a tester before, but if you come from a computer science background, this will put you in good stead.

    Knowledge Requirements:
  • Understanding of software development and technology products preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to robust testing processes essential.

  • Analytical problem solver with the ability to use initiative.

  • Work Experience and Key Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively.

  • General understanding and experience of key business processes, particularly within a digital/software development environment.

  • Critical and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Proactive attitude with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.

  • Ability to interpret and follow processes accurately, recording and reporting issues diligently.

IRIS have partnered with a leading provider of software solutions and digital products, who are growing organically. They are currently seeking a motivated User Acceptance Testing Analyst to join their Projects and technical team.
