Full Job Description

The post holder will support the HR Team in the achievement of the trust's priorities and support the team in the delivery of its objectives demonstrating a 'can do' attitude and adopting a flexible and resourceful approach. You will undertake all responsibilities with due regard to the trust policies and practices. You will participate in relevant projects that support the delivery of the People strategy/Business Plan and undertake any other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the post., Recruitment

  • Assist in the administration of the recruitment, selection and induction

  • processes, including liaising with candidates.
  • Assist with the administration associated with members of staff who

  • have started / left employment.
  • Supporting the HR Team with proactive maintenance of the Single

  • Central
    Record for new and existing employees.

    Induction & Training
  • Assist in the administration of induction & probationary records for new

  • employees.
  • Assist with administration and coordination of training events for HR

  • and
    wider SFSC MAC team as required.

    General
  • Understand how to assist in the provision of business support to the

  • HR
    Team including day to day tasks such as document creation, using excel
    spreadsheets, google suite of documents, room bookings, electronic filing, and distribution of information.
  • To support the HR Team, as a first point of contact for enquiries, and

  • respond to or refer enquiries as appropriate.
  • Assist with processing payroll changes as required, making relevant

  • changes to employee records in line with protocols and audit
    requirements.
  • Support the HR Team in maintaining electronic filing systems & HR

  • information systems relating to employee records, absence, contractual
    pay information and produce letters & information as required.
  • Act as an effective team member, contribute to team meetings and

  • provide assistance to others as requested across the wider Central Team.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as may be required

  • Training to be provided: Training for this qualification will be provided by ourselves at SCCU Group, an Ofsted good training provider. Our tuition is all delivered in the workplace and bespoke to your particular role. Dependent on the learner's prior knowledge.
  • HR Support Level 3 Standard, 18 months practical with an additional 3 months End Point Assessment period.

  • Functional Skills in Maths and English (if required).


  • Working Week and Hours: 37 hours per week - Term time

    Salary: MAC Band C £23,114-£24702 37 hours term time + 2weeks with flexibility (pro rata £19,792-£21,152 per annum).
