Full Job Description

Moorview Care are looking for a team member to lead on generalist HR across the organisation, supporting the HR Team on areas of focus as required.,

  • Contribute to the Organisational Objectives by completing specific HR projects and tasks.

  • Undertake the action plan assigned.

  • Align HR activity to people budget.

  • Be the champion for our people, culture and values across the organisation

  • Embed our company values throughout HR

  • Submit People Data for the Monthly People Report

  • Filing of HR documentation as required.

  • Lead on general employment enquiries e.g. pay bands, policy, and new starter information

  • Note taking for formal meetings when required

  • Keep up to date contacts and build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Prepare formal written correspondence as required

  • Review and approve formal written correspondence.

  • Promotion & outcome correspondence.

  • Pay band change correspondence.

  • Contract amendments.

  • Team change memos.

  • Update company organisational chart.

  • Respond to Indeed Reviews

  • Refer A Friend Scheme Correspondence

  • Reference responses

  • Proof of employment correspondence

  • Responsible for the accurate and up to date monitoring of people due diligence.

  • Update relevant spreadsheets with up to date information for analysis.

  • Audit Locality Spreadsheets for accuracy.

  • Audit employee folders and follow up missing information identified from audit.

  • Responsible for managing Right to Work compliance.

  • Lead and implement HR initiatives relevant to the H&SC sector and in line with the HR business plan.

  • Support Investors in People accreditation or equivalent.

  • Be the lead on sector workforce initiatives including best practice.

  • Build on MVC reputation and employee brand as a employer of choice.

  • Work collaboratively with the relevant departments to identify areas of concern including skills and knowledge gaps, and implement solution focussed improvements.

  • Look to continuously improve HR processes and systems.

  • Keep up to date on own CPD so that policies and procedures may be updated accordingly.

  • Identify and coordinate the implementation and continued improvement to digitalised HR processes

  • Monitor and identify, in collaboration with the Locality Manager, resourcing needs.

  • Collate a calendar of local recruitment fayres.

  • Attend local recruitment fayres where required.

  • Monitor values based recruitment techniques and tools for shortlisting and pre-screening

  • Support HRO's with pre-screen telephone interviews of shortlisted candidates where required

  • Support client inclusion as part of the recruitment process

  • Attend interviews where appropriate

  • Sit on interview panel

  • Take interview notes

  • Be a soundboard for decision making on successful candidates

  • Monitor and review interview technique and skills

  • Produce and deliver relevant interview technique workshops

  • Support with onboarding correspondence where required

  • Risk Assessments

  • Lone Working Risk Assessments

  • Liaise with Culture & Wellbeing Lead on identified Risk Assessments

  • Monitor recruitment/service spreadsheets

  • Monitor onboarding compliance

  • Communicate team member compliance status prior to starting

  • Support Investigation & Disciplinary process and Investigation & Grievance process.

  • Minute investigations, disciplinary and grievance meetings where required

  • Minute Ad hoc meetings where required

  • Produce and deliver relevant HR workshops

  • Ensure HR policy and processes are adhered to, provide guidance on policy and process

  • Support with all HR documentation and processes

  • Document and update HR SOP's

  • Maintain HR document referencing

  • Redaction of documentation where necessary

  • Have an overview of employment law changes, support the implementation of any changes

  • Keep up to date with HR in the H&SC Sector, attend webinars as required

  • Monitor and report risk

  • Create & deliver relevant HR based Workshops

  • Drive development for managers through coaching

  • Deputise for the role above and below where required

  • Any other duties deemed appropriate by the Head of HR

    Previous experience within recruitment.

  • CIPD Level 3 or above essential.

  • Have values aligned to Moorview Care and display the behaviours associated with those values.

  • Willingness to work flexibly and to keep knowledge and skills up to date.

  • Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

  • Desirable - Full driver's licence with business insurance (expenses paid for insurance where necessary).
