HR Advisor

Support across all services of the authority to provide HR expertise and advice on HR casework, promoting best practice and helping to navigate complex cases
To develop and lead on training initiatives to strengthen and implement effective people interventions and other HR related subject matter
To stay up to date on legal changes, and support with the maintenance and improvement of our policies and procedures
To assist leaders and line managers to proactively identify, pre-empt and troubleshoot risk.
To produce and analyse workforce data as well as key metrics, and use such information to participate in strategic discussions about shaping future options and challenges.

Essential: Graduate CIPD or equivalent experience
Essential Strong Employee Relations experience handling complex cases and a full understanding of current legislation
Essential: Experience with organisation projects, initiatives and delivery of training
Essential: Experience of recognised HR Software to promote agile online working practices
Essential: Strong Communication skills and the ability to handle challenging conversations in a harmonious manner.
