Healthcare Assistant - Older Adult Mental Health

To complete ward CSSD Stores requests, ward documentation, Care Notes entries, and patient specific documentation. Support the Nurse in charge and completing delegated nursing duties. Maintain confidentiality, dignity, privacy and respect for patients at all times. Complete enhanced observations of patients. Supporting patients with Personal Care. Good communication and listening skills. Ability to work well under pressure. To work within a Multi-disciplinary Team Manual handling of patients, using lifting aids. Including Safety Interventions training. Assisting in house-keeping, domestic and catering duties. Completion of required training. Supporting patients detained under the legal requirements of the Mental Health Act 1983. Actively participate in the clinical supervision and staff development review process.
