Full Job Description

IRIS are embedded in a technology business who are bringing in a senior Marketing hire to drive the growth of their digital marketing, events and marketing strategy.

Context:

The current marketing landscape of this business now requires a marketing professional to spearhead its transformation. With the current marketing leadership lacking hands on experience and direction, we need a "done it before" marketing leader to lead its marketing efforts, align them with company goals, and drive substantial growth.

Mission:

The Head of Marketing will be instrumental in shaping the future trajectory of the company's marketing strategy but more importantly will need to lead from the front, having recent experience with how to increase web traffic, customer campaign and funnel plans and social media paid campaigns on channels such as LinkedIn. This individual will craft and execute a comprehensive plan aimed at expanding customer reach, enhancing brand recognition, and boosting revenue generation.

Key Outcomes:

  • Increase web traffic and SEO rankings.

  • Achieve leads targets and enhance the sales funnel.

  • Develop and execute a customer campaign plan to improve retention rates.

  • Cultivate and nurture referral partner relationships.

  • Host regular events (webinars, roundtables, etc.) to engage and educate the audience.

  • Enhance the brands presence on LinkedIn, measured by impressions and followers.

  • Effectively manage the marketing budget.

  • Foster an internal culture of engagement and become an employer of choice., The toughest aspect of the role will be winning over key stakeholders and gaining their trust.

  • Failure could result from overcomplicating plans, cultural misalignment, or lack of cohesion with other departments.

    Proven track record in strategic marketing leadership.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively navigate within the company's culture.

  • Confident leadership and influencing abilities.


  • Technical Capabilities:
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing marketing strategies.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.

  • Experience in the CRM and technology sector would be highly advantageous., Experience working with charities and the not-for-profit sector is beneficial. Previous CRM and technology-driven marketing experience is highly advantageous., Bachelor's (preferred), Digital marketing: 4 years (preferred)

  • Marketing: 5 years (preferred)
