A full-time permanent position is available and applications will be welcomed from experienced teachers with a track record as excellent classroom teachers who are committed to the highest standards of academic achievement and able to teach the subject to A Level. The ability to teach both Physical and Human Geography to A Level is desired. Geography is a very popular subject at both GCSE and A Level, and this post provides an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to work in a high-performing department with supportive & caring colleagues and to lead a wide range of fieldwork and other trips within the UK and overseas.

Prince Henry's is a popular and over-subscribed 13-18 High School with approximately 1300 on roll including more than 330 in one of Worcestershire's largest Sixth Forms. The school enjoys an excellent reputation locally and has consistently been judged outstanding by Ofsted, most recently in May 2013. Two Ofsted Survey inspections undertaken during 2014 looking at provision for the most able students, and also for alternative curriculum provision both praised the school's ethos and its ability to deliver excellent teaching and learning to students of all abilities. Among its many accreditations, the school holds the National SMSCD Gold Award, the Career Mark and is a Centre of Excellence for the Inclusion Quality Mark.

Having been a Teaching School since 2014 and a SCITT since September 2017, Prince Henry's became the Teaching School Hub for the Worcester, Wychavon, Malvern Hills, Wyre Forest and Herefordshire area in September 2021
