Full Job Description
- PC Assembly and Setup, Build and configure PCs according to specific requirements, ensuring optimal performance.
- Install operating systems such as Windows and essential applications like Microsoft Office, ensuring all systems are ready for client use.
- Set up and configure network devices including Draytek routers and Ubiquiti access points, maintaining robust network connectivity.
- Travel to client sites to install and integrate systems into existing networks within the client's domain.
- Conduct repairs on laptops, including replacing screens, RAM, SSDs, and other components as needed.
- Offer both onsite and remote support to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network configurations.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and client interactions to ensure consistent service quality and compliance.
- Provide training to clients on new systems and software to enhance their understanding and ease of use.
- Collaborate with support engineers to integrate hardware with clients systems
must have a full clean driving license, vehicle available for use for site visits.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in building and setting up PCs, installing software, configuring network devices, and performing hardware repairs. This role involves direct interaction with client systems, ensuring their IT infrastructure supports their business needs effectively.
