Grade 2 Teaching Assistant

To work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the management/preparation of resources.

To deliver intervention programmes to individuals and groups of pupils across the school and to report progress to class teachers and Deputy Head.

NVQ 2 for Teaching assistants or equivalent qualification or experience.

Good standard of education - Level 2 (or equivalent) English & Maths

Experience of working with children of relevant age.

Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children.

Working knowledge of National/Foundation Stage curriculum.

£12,831.76 to £13,046.35 (for 23 hours per week)

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join our strong team of practitioners. Part-time vacancy for 23 hours per week working Monday to Thursday.
