JOB TITLE: Global Mobility Manager, Projects - 18 MONTH TEMPORARY CONTRACT, Beyond Property, Purchasing, HR and IT, more than being part of our Finance or Marketing teams, beyond even Sales and Service, every role in every business area offers unique opportunities to make an impact on the future of mobility and the automotive industry.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The HR Centres of Expertise develop and deliver strategies across JLR to improve organisational capability and the employee experience.
This role sits in Global Mobility, and will scan the external environment to identify best practices in formal assignments and longer term business travellers to certain locations.
This role will consider applicability to wider group entity projects at JLR and then develop and deploy processes and initiatives as appropriate to support global moves of people and set up and manage the compliance requirements for such moves.,
- Mobility is a specialized area of HR focused on developing and managing the programs and policies related to international employee assignments and business traveller
- Designing expatriate policies and reward packages that are suitable to support international business growth (e.g., compensation, housing allowances, tax equalization, benefits coordination, relocation expense reimbursement, etc.)
- Design and implement a cross entity secondment process (including policies, practices and procedures) managing all stakeholders, compliance, and communications.
- Provide support for short term results and then long term embedding of such processes.
- Provide ongoing technical training for the expatriate management teams on administration of secondment policy and employee tax implications across India and the UK.
- Work alongside the Corporate Tax teams to manage compliance risk and ensure a high level of employee experience is maintained for travellers and travel teams
Experience of stakeholder management and networking skills - Proven experience of understanding compliance requirements when cross border working and implementing processes to manage such compliance
- Experience and knowledge of working in mobility
- Experience of Business Influencing and Contracting
- Proven Project Management experience
- Strong analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on
