Gardeners - part time Biggleswade, Sandy and surrounding area

Due to continued growth, Age UK Bedfordshire are recruiting Welfare Support Workers to undertake a range of gardening tasks in Biggleswade, Sandy, Henlow and surrounding villages.

You will be joining the largest social enterprise in Bedfordshire, who are devoted to the welfare of older people. With over 30 years of experience, we are a caring, friendly organisation who puts the welfare of our clients and employees as our number one priority. The work will generally include mowing lawns, weeding borders, trim hedges and bushes, generally tidy the garden and keep it maintained.

Hours and days to be agreed at interview.

We try to be as flexible as possible when you initially discuss your required working pattern. However, we do ask you to stay within that working pattern as far as possible once it has been mutually agreed. Obviously, we understand that life happens and that you may need to change your working patterns from time to time.

You will also be required to attend team meetings and training sessions.

Part Time - £11.44 ph plus mileage and travel time allowance of £1.58 between clients.
