Full Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Divisional Finance, as a finance business partner you will be responsible for delivering a strong financial business partnering service to an assigned Portfolio. You will be a key member of the Portfolio's management team and will build strong relationships across the department to support financial analysis, planning and reporting and to help drive decision making., Oxfam is committed to preventing any type of unwanted behaviour at work including sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse, lack of integrity and financial misconduct; and committed to promoting the welfare of children, young people, adults and beneficiaries with whom Oxfam GB engages. The post holder will undertake the appropriate level of training and is responsible for ensuring that they understand and work within the safeguarding policies of the organisation.

Are you AAT qualified, ideally Part qualified/qualified Accountant or qualified by experience?

Are you commercially aware?

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • Minimum qualification AAT qualified, ideally Part qualified/qualified Accountant or qualified by experienced.

  • Commercially aware

  • Time management, planning and communication skills.

  • High level numeracy skills and attention to detail.

  • Great advisory skills and ability to influence others.

  • Team player who relishes full participation in the activities of the team, division, and organisation

  • Able to prioritise on conflicting deadlines and priorities.

  • Good knowledge of ERP systems, Financial Analysis/Reporting Tools, Excel and Word
