Full Job Description

This is a great opportunity to be part of a team to work on Healthy Lifestyle Programme commissioned by Compass and Warwickshire County Council. This programme aims to to support families to lead a healthier lifestyle in various ways including the provision of evidence based structured 7-week family based workshops, parent/carer workshops and 1-1's promoting the benefits of exercise and nutrition. The age ranges include primary and secondary school aged children between 4 & 19 years. The Family Lifestyle Advisor will be based in Nuneaton and Rugby with some countrywide travel and will work in schools and leisure centres to deliver interactive sessions and promote active recreation and healthy lifestyles.

The ideal candidates will have experience of working in a health or leisure environment promoting participation in sport and healthy lifestyles and have a strong track record of partnership working. You need to be an enthusiastic self- starter who can relate well to both children and adults. The Family Lifestyle Advisor will be employed by Rugby Borough Council but will be work across Nuneaton and Rugby as part of the County-wide delivery programme.
