Full Job Description

INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES ONLY

The post holder will have overall responsibility to provide an efficient and effective administration of the 6 national ANNB screening programmes (New-born Hearing screening, New-born Bloodspot, New-born Infant Physical Examination, Infectious diseases in pregnancy, Haemoglobinopathies and Fetal Anomaly). They will also maintain an accurate screening database and provide accurate statistical information.

The post holder is accountable to the Antenatal and New-born Screening Coordinator (WCH) but will work closely with the ANNB Screening Coordinator CIC also.,

  • To develop and then maintain database of all patients who attend the services and all screening programmes accessed.

  • To liaise as appropriately with external service providers. To provide data to the Screening Coordinators for the quarterly KPIs and annual report as well as provide daily analysis of impending breaches on Failsafe Systems and to action these appropriately to meet service specifications.

  • To facilitate the Screening Coordinators to meet the targets as defined by the NHS screening programme publication and alert the Screening Coordinators of impending breaches with identified remedial actions required
