Full Job Description

Due to continued organisational growth and development opportunities for our current staff, we are recruiting for experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our staff teams. Supporting vulnerable and complex children/young adults in the Swindon area- in and out of their home., As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be key in helping our young people with everyday living including helping in daily personal care, household tasks, accompanying the young person to appointments and daily plans whilst ensuring their health and wellbeing needs are met. The rewards of this role are incomparable to any other job. You will be working in an environment where the little things that you do every day could have life-changing results on the young people in our care.

We specialise in providing best-in-class care and support for children and young people who have behaviours that may challenge, mental health needs and disabilities that need extra support.   • Experience as a Healthcare Assistant or similar position.

  • Care Certificate would be an advantage.

  • A passion to want to help others.

  • The ability to communicate clearly and sensitively when talking to people and their families.

  • Good listening skills.

  • The ability to work alone.

  • Being empathetic towards everyone.

  • Great verbal and written communication skills.

  • A non-judgemental attitude regardless of a person's needs.

  • Able to follow instruction & direction.

  • Full UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle or means of transport.
