Early Years Apprenticeship

Your apprenticeship will last for 13 - 15 months total. You will be supported by an dedicated childcare assessor and tutor throughout your apprenticeship to meet the criteria to pass the apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within the nursery

You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship. As you progress through your apprenticeship your duties and responsibilities will alter as you develop the skills for a successful career in childcare.

Practitioners will be expected to:

• Supporting children's self-help needs.


• Being creative and enthusiastic.


• Undertaking training as appropriate to meet any changes in standards or appropriate legal requirements as required.


• Ensuring that all Health and Hygiene requirements are always adhered to.


During this apprenticeship in childcare, you will have access to excellent training and development opportunities within the role, with the potential to progress into other childcare orientated roles in the future.

If you're looking to get hands-on experience in childcare, whilst learning from some of the most talented people within the sector, this is for you.

You will need a grade 4/C or above in GCSE Maths and English or functional skills in order to apply, as well as a desire to study and work in the Early Years sector.
