Full Job Description

The role will include day to day management of the services you cover, ensuring the individuals we support receive a personalised service which meets and continually responds to their changing needs, whilst also working to maintain quality and compliance. Support and supervision of staff and acting as the point of call in the absence of the Locality Manager. Respond to concerns in a timely manner, with reference to company procedure and local safeguarding arrangements and CQC guidelines., · Oversee and manage the operations of a home care facility.

· Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to clients.

· Develop and implement care plans for clients based on their individual needs
Supervise and train a team of caregivers.

· Coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide necessary medical treatments and medication administration.

· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and adjust as needed.

· Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care.

  • Previous experience within a senior or deputy role working with adults with learning disabilities.

  • Fully flexible to suit the needs of the services you support.

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 4 or above OR hold your QCF Level 5 in management OR be prepared to work towards it.

  • Excellent written, verbal and IT skills and be able to prioritise, plan and organise your workload effectively.

  • In depth knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and of their practical application.

  • An element of on-call will be required.


  • As part of your role as the Deputy Locality Manager, you will be expected to travel between your services whilst working on-rota and off- rota with a minimum of 1 day off rota per week - dependant on occupancy hours.

  • Supported Living Senior care: 2 years (preferred)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • British Driving Licence (preferred)

  • NVQ Level 4 or above Health and Social Care (preferred)

    Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

  • Contract length: 12 months

    Pay: Up to £26,000.00 per year
