Full Job Description

The Early Help Monitoring (EHM) Team within the Children and Families Service supports the systems and processes that underpin the delivery of Early Help support for families across Warwickshire. The team is responsible for ensuring that Early Help support is initiated and progressed to timescales, and processes are being followed correctly by both our internal colleagues and our external partners across our Early Help Network. The EHM team also provides a primary point of contact for all Early Help professionals to offer advice, guidance and support on our Early Help Processes., We have an exciting opportunity for two experienced and enthusiastic data colleagues to join our team. You will be focused on supporting the delivery of the data systems and processes that underpin the delivery of Early Help support for families. This includes meeting the data requirements of the National Supporting Families Programme; supporting the development and implementation of the wider integration of data systems and processes; monitoring and tracking families that access support from Children and Families services and across partners; and evidencing the outcomes for these families., The Children and Families Service is made up of various teams to support Warwickshire's children, young people and families. We offer statutory children's social care and non-statutory support and guidance. We put children and families at the heart of everything we do and work together to improve their quality of life and ensure they receive early support when they need it. We know families are the experts in their own lives and it is important we listen to them and understand their needs. We work with them, not to or for them, to keep families together and support them to build on their own strengths and relationships to be the best they can be. We have invested in new ways of working to allow increased focus on building strong relationships with families and helping them to find long-lasting solutions to any problems they may face. Our practice helps people to recognise their expertise, so they are resilient and equipped to help themselves and be in
control. Our teams make an impact throughout the county, and everyone has a role to play. Work in children's social care - Warwickshire County Council

Drawing on a background of data collection, analysis and presentation, gained either through degree-level study or experience in a similar role, you will use your skills to support the work of the Early Help Monitoring Team.

This includes working in Mosaic - the Social Care and Early Help electronic case management system; extracting and summarising information and data from assessments and forms; monitoring the progress of families; liaising with professionals to obtain family progress evidence in a timely manner; coding triage information on families to deliver evidence on the impact of Early Help services; gathering evidence for the Payment by Results process; and supporting the required statutory data returns to government. This also requires periods of duty managing the Early Help Monitoring telephone line and inbox, responding to communications and queries from professionals across the Early Help Network.

Candidates for this role will have the ability to read, interpret and analyse complex information from a variety of sources. They will be able to extract the succinct evidence needed to demonstrate a family's programme eligibility and progress against strict threshold criteria.

Candidates will also have an organised approach to work, a good eye for detail, and work consistently at a high level of accuracy. The ability to present analysis to a variety of audiences in written, verbal or graphical form is important, as is the ability to work well both as part of a team and on your own initiative. Good interpersonal skills, and the confidence to build and maintain relationships across a variety of services and agencies is also required.

The role will involve working closely with colleagues in our Early Help services and across the Children and Families Service, so knowledge and understanding of these services would be ideal but not essential.

Please note that candidates will be required to respect the confidential and sensitive nature of personal information, and have a good understanding of data confidentiality, information governance and security. Read more in our Agile Working leaflet
