Full Job Description

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be at the forefront of protecting our systems and data. Implement security solutions across our network, identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, and uphold security policies and procedures. You will stay relevant and updated on emerging threats and technologies to continuously strengthen our security posture.

Major objectives

The major objectives are:

Monitor networks, systems, and platforms for security threats, attacks, and anomalous activity. Investigate incidents and breaches.

Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity systems, processes, and contingency plans.

Use analytic and autonomous AI tools to identify emerging cyber threats and patterns.

Provide expertise on key security domains - IAM, encryption, network security, firewalls, endpoints, logging, data loss prevention, etc.

Keep stakeholders informed on relevant cybersecurity issues, guidance, and technical solutions.

In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, methods, technologies, and standards like Cyber Essentials, NIST, SOC2, ISO 27001.

Experience with identity and access management, Anti-Virus, EDR, mobile device management, cloud security, API security, WAFs, and email security solutions.

Prior experience using the following Microsoft products Defender 365, Sentinel, MDM, NAM, Entra ID and associated security features.

Knowledge of networking, network security, firewalls, load balancers, and endpoint security.

Ability to develop and implement comprehensive security solutions.

Extensive experience as a cybersecurity engineer or similar role.

Industry recognized certifications like CISSP, CISM, Azure AZ-500, AWS-SCS-C02, ethical hacking accreditations is desirable., Disability Confident
