Cover Supervisor

Actual annual salary: £22,484 - £24,799 (based on 37 hours per week)

Salary Scale Point 12 (range 12-17)

Various patterns of hours available: Monday - Friday between the hours of 7.30am - 4.00pm (maximum 37 hours each week)

Term time only plus 2 additional days

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our team within a school judged by OFSTED as 'Outstanding' in all areas, a school where both student achievement and attitudes to learning are amongst the best in the region. We are a fantastic learning community, set in one of Yorkshire's most scenic areas, whose facilities have been further enhanced by the completion of a multi-million pound refurbishment and expansion project. These posts are required as soon as possible. Previous experience would be desirable but full training will be provided.

  • someone with the ability to provide consistent professional standards regarding work and behaviour

  • a colleague who is able to provide administrative and technical support to subject departments and the Cover Manager

  • provide examination supervision and accompany school trips, as necessary

  • someone who has the presence to maintain a productive classroom environment and keep students on task
